Dara Torres teams up with National Psoriasis Foundation
Olympic swimmer Dara Torres has teamed up with the National Psoriasis Foundation to launch a national public service announcement to raise awareness that psoriasis is a serious disease of the immune system and not just a cosmetic condition.
Torres, is a 12-time Olympic medal winner and American record holder. She encourages everyone living with this disease to be their own champion and seek support, information and proper treatment to effectively manage their psoriasis.
Torres has lived with psoriasis for nearly 20 years and is the first Olympic athlete to speak out about the disease.
