I have been suffering from psoriasis since I moved from Japan 35 years ago. I tried everything available to me, and they cost me more than $10,000 last 32 years. I almost gave up, since nothing worked on consistent basis. Some cream or formula seemed working good for 30 days or so, yet after 30 days the condition began coming back and in a few weeks everything returned as before. More than 90% of my whole body was covered with the psoriasis condition, except most of the palm, sole, nose, a part of elbow.
Everywhere else was covered. Last 10 years I did nothing about my condition except putting steroid based cream on face and hands where people could see, though that cream would not improve the condition, yet slows down the worsening the condition. I basically gave up on the treatments.
When I visited Japan last year, a friend introduced me Bin-Cho-Tan for bath contents for skin problem. Bin-Cho-Tan is smoked firewood. In traditional Japanese cooking, they used this kind of firewood for grilling. Then they developed the products for other uses, like deodorants, water cleaner, air cleaner, laundry soap replacement, etc. The friend noticed my skin condition and suggested to use this product. So I bought it and began putting them in the tub whenever I took bath for 20-30 minutes every day. I did not have any faith in it, thinking, “This will be the same as other products that I used before.” But I noticed the change in a few days.
The whole body used to be so red for 10 hours or so after the bath, then got a little whiter. 30 to 35 hours after bath, skin began scaling and cracking. I used to take a bath every other night to avoid showing redness and scaling to other people.
But after I began using this firewood for bathing, redness disappeared in 5-6 hours, and whole body became much smoother after the bath. So I took this firewood more seriously and stayed in bathtub longer up to 30-45 minutes.
Now 35 days have passed since I began using the product. I did not write any testimonials or take any pictures till now, because the condition came back after 30-40 days of any other treatments I tried. I was very cautious. I finally took pictures today, because my condition has improved so much that the skin redness or scaling might disappear completely. I wanted to have some evidence of my condition. You can barely see the different skin color of my psoriasis condition. You can easily imagine that my whole body must have been covered with the same condition.
There is absolutely no sign of condition returning back. I have lots of hope. I will write to you again after I make sure that no condition comes back in a month or so.
Meanwhile I really want to share my experience with any psoriasis sufferers. I know from my experience, I would try anything to improve the condition. Yet I found out in hard way that any chemical formula or cream never work in consistent basis. I am not a doctor, nor chemist. So I do not know why this firewood works (so far).
