Psoriasis Care - Throat Infections

Having my tonsils out helped cleared my psoriasis - Lucy, Newcastle Upon Tyne, UK

I got psoriasis when I was 6/7 years old and over the years it got worse, it was all over my body from my head to feet.

I had hospital treatment ie light treatment, numerous creams etc... Now I am 17 years old and my psoriasis has completely cleared from my body.

In June 07 I had my tonsils removed, and over a period of about 3/4 weeks after having them removed I noticed that my psoriasis was clearing and eventually completely cleared on my body.

Through information I have read I know that you can get psoriasis from throat infections etc. I was just wondering if anybody else has highlighted this to you as having my tonsils removed seems to have cleared my psoriasis.
